Our Rules
Our Rules
Mifund is a community of people committed to bringing creative projects, innovative ideas & business ideas to life. Startups & businesses looking to expand are welcome.
We welcome & support projects, innovative ideas & business expansion from variety of categories or industries: Aerospace, Construction, Automotive, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Mining, Finance, Artificial Intelligence, Retail, Games, Journalis, Music, Publishing, Technology & Film & Video. Here are five rules every Mifund project must follow. Before we dive in into Our Rules let us explain the creators fee & why creators are required to pay this money.
The reason why you have to pay R100 as a creator cause it is going to help you with your campaign so you can able to get backers. It creates traffic to your campaign after its lauch. This is a mandatory fee to all creators failure to do so we won't display your project to the public. We launch your campaign by running ads bringing traffic to your campaign. The moment it gets recognised is when someone shows an interest interest in it by pledging an amou to it. Without creators fee we won't run ads for your campaign.
We also build buzz on social media. Platforms like instagram, TikTok, Twitter & Facebook which it provide the perfect stage to share teaser content, project updates, bshind-the-seens moment that captivates your audience.
• Projects must create something to share with others.
Mifund can be used to create all sorts of things: business expansions like new products or launching new product, innovative ideas, film & video & prelaunching a book. But every project needs a plan for creating something & sharing it with the world. At some point, the creator should be able to say: "It's finished. Here's what we created. Enjoy!"
• Projects & backer statistics must be honest & clearly presented.
Our community is built on trust & communication. Projects can't mislead people or misrepresent facts. Creators should be candid about what they plan to do it. When a project involves manufacturing & distributing something complex, like a gadget, we require projects to show backers a prototype of what they're making, & we prohibi the use of misleading imagery. Creators should not misrepresent or artificially inflate the number of backers or amounts pledged go their projects.
Prototype demonstration should reflect a product's current state & should not include any CGI or special effects to demonstrate functionality that does not yet exist. If a project requires software & hardware integration, creators are required to show that functionality & any dependency clearly, or disclose that it has not yet been developed.
Misleading imagery
Includes photorealistic renderings & heavily edited or manipulated images or videos that could give backers a false impression of a product's current stage of development.
Projects developing artificial intelligence (AI) technology or including AI-generated content are allowed in some situations, so long as the creator is transparent about how it will be used & they are contributing uniqueness to the project. Additional context on our rules about the use & development of AI will be available here soon!
Updates we will keep our backers updated on all projects that are pledged.
• Projects can't fundraise for charity
While nonprofits are welcome to launch projects on Mifund projects can't promise to raise funds to donate to a charity or cause. Funds raised on Mifund must go towards facilitating the project outlined by creator on the project's campaigns page.
